For patients with terminally ill cancer, there may be good news... it may soon be easier for them to get access to experimental treatments.
According to an article in the USA Today, Desperate Cancer Patients Put Hopes On Expanded Trials the FDA has proposed rules to make it easier for terminally ill patients to get access to experimental drugs.
The FDA was taking public comment on the proposed rules until March 14, and then will make their decision based on those findings.
