Nearly all men faced with a prostate cancer diagnosis are understandably concerned about potential side effects from their prostate cancer treatment.

Among the potential side effects, erectile dysfunction (ED - also sometimes referred to as "impotence") usually ranks fairly high in the minds of many men as a source for worry.

The nerve-sparing prostatectomy is one method that doctors have developed to try and lessen the risk of ED. You can learn all about this procedure here.
