Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut announced this past Friday that he has prostate cancer. He has already made the decision to go ahead with surgery and will be going to Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York for the procedure.
The Senator has said that his cancer was caught at an early stage and has already said that he plans to run for a 6th term in 2010.
