Robin Ventura, the longtime professional baseball player and new manager of the Chicago White Sox, has long been an advocate for prostate cancer awareness and has devoted his time over the years to helping the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

As part of his past efforts, he has traveled to various baseball spring training sites to educate and encourage other professional players to do their part to raise awareness of prostate cancer and to look after their own prostate health.

Ventura has already stated that, despite his demanding new job, he will remain active in the world of prostate cancer awareness and advocacy.
