"On Having Prostate Cancer" -- One Man's Treatment Blogged
Wednesday April 18, 2007
Paramus NJ native Mel Fabrikant today released a third installment of "On Having Prostate Cancer", a series of articles chronicling how he is dealing with prostate cancer treatment that he publishes in the online edition of the local newspaper.
Mr. Fabrikant was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year after a microscopic examination of a prostate biospy. Due to his age (he is 82) and other medical concerns, he started receiving hormone therapy and 42 treatments of tomotherapy.
Analysis: Written in a style of a local reporter, Mr. Fabrikant puts a very personal touch on what it means to a man to be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and how he views that he is being treated.
Good luck to you Mel-- and keep writing.
The Article: On Having Prostate Cancer Visit #3. The Paramus Post. April 17, 2007.
