Background:
Current FDA standards require a treatment to provide a successful outcome based only on its ability to increase the five year long-term survival. This requires a wait of at least five years after a clinical trial is finished in order to gain approval.Researchers have argued that a quick and significant drop in PSA levels seen continuously for a shorter period of time has already been proven through research to increase the long-term survival rate for prostate cancer-- therefore waiting for the long-term survival rate is unnecessary.
What do you think? Should the FDA Revamp Its Prostate Cancer Treatment Approval Process?

Yes- the FDA should revamp its approval process--it keeps much needed prostate cancer treatments from helping men with the disease.
-
No- the FDA should leave the approval process alone-- it should be unbending in its approvals in order to protect patients from harm.

I'm Not Sure--but in all fairness, I think the FDA should consider it.
