Definition:
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to achieve an erection of sufficient quality or of sufficient duration for sexual intercourse.
ED can be due to a multitude of causes, but men with prostate cancer typically are afflicted with ED following treatment of their prostate cancer with surgery, radiation therapy, or hormone therapy.
