Question: I've Been Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Should I Get A Second Opinion?
Answer: Absolutely!
It is always reasonable to get a second opinion especially from an oncologist. Find someone at one of the National Cancer Institute cancer centers. These are usually university based, or part of a large medical center, and are located in every state.
If the second opinion is similar, don't waste time going to several more. Chances are that all other specialists will recommend the same thing.
