Saturated Fat

It has been shown that a diet high in saturated fat tends to increase a man's chance of developing prostate cancer. This was especially true for saturated fat found in animal meats.

The mechanism of increased risk for prostate cancer is not known, it has been theorized that the cooking processes used to prepare meats (especially frying) could be the culprit, introducing carcinogens into the body which migrate to the prostate.

Recommendation:

Lower your saturated fat intake especially from meats and avoid fried food. This seems not only to be good for prostate cancer, but is beneficial to avoid other diseases such as heart problems and colon cancer.
